These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wedzaar (“Wedzaar”, “we”, “our”, “us”), including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About the Services
Wedzaar is an online wedding marketplace that helps customers discover wedding vendors and professionals (such as makeup artists, photographers, planners, decorators, venues, caterers, and related services) and communicate with them. Wedzaar may display profiles, portfolios, pricing or package information where provided, and may facilitate enquiries, bookings, or other interactions depending on features available from time to time.
Wedzaar is a platform. Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing, we are not a party to contracts between customers and vendors. Vendors are independent businesses; customers are responsible for evaluating vendors, services, and any agreements they enter into.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
Users under 18 should use the Services only with parental or guardian supervision where required by law.
3. Accounts, login & security
3.1 Registration and login identifiers
To use certain features you may create a Wedzaar account using information such as your name, email address, mobile number, and a password or authentication through a supported third-party provider (for example Google or similar sign-in options we may offer). You must provide accurate details and keep them up to date. You may not create an account for another person without permission, or create multiple accounts to evade suspension or misuse the Services.
3.2 Passwords, OTPs and sessions
You are responsible for safeguarding your password, one-time passwords (OTPs), recovery codes, and any device used to access your account. Do not share login details with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account until you notify us of unauthorized use and we have had a reasonable opportunity to act. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your credentials and contact us promptly.
3.3 Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, or that pose a risk to the platform or other users.
4. Instagram, social media & connected accounts
4.1 Connection and consent
The Services may allow you to connect or link a third-party account (such as Instagram, operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. or its affiliates) to your Wedzaar profile—for example to display a handle, import a profile photo, show selected public portfolio content, or simplify login. If you choose to connect Instagram or another social account, you authorize Wedzaar to access and use information from that service as described at the time you connect and in our Privacy Policy, strictly as permitted by that third party’s APIs, permissions, and your settings.
4.2 Data from connected accounts
Depending on what you authorize, we may receive and store identifiers (such as your user ID or username), profile information, and content you allow us to display on Wedzaar (for example public posts or images you select for your vendor profile). We use this information to operate features you request, improve the Services, and prevent abuse. How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4.3 Posting, your Instagram account, and content
You remain responsible for your Instagram (and other social) accounts and for complying with Meta’s and any other platform’s terms, community guidelines, and intellectual property rules. Content you post on Instagram is governed by Instagram’s policies; content you submit or display on Wedzaar is governed by these Terms and our content rules. You represent that you have the rights to any material you allow us to show on Wedzaar from a connected account. Wedzaar does not control Instagram and is not responsible for availability, changes, or enforcement actions by Meta or other platforms.
4.4 Disconnecting and third-party terms
You may disconnect a linked social account through your Wedzaar account settings or the third party’s controls where available. Your use of Instagram and Meta products remains subject to Meta’s terms and privacy policy. We are not liable for third-party services, data practices, or outages.
5. Wedzaar mobile application
If you use a Wedzaar mobile application (“App”), these Terms apply in addition to any rules imposed by the app store from which you downloaded the App (for example Google Play or the Apple App Store). The store provider is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App, except as required by that store’s policies.
- License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely to access the Services in line with these Terms.
- Updates. We may release updates, patches, or new versions; continued use after update may constitute acceptance of any updated Terms posted on our site.
- Device permissions. The App may request permissions (such as notifications, camera, photos, or storage) only as needed for features you use. You can manage permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
- Your data on the App. Information collected through the App is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including technical data needed for security and analytics.
6. Customers & Vendors
6.1 Customers
When you submit enquiries, booking requests, or messages, you agree that relevant information may be shared with the vendor(s) you select so they can respond. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
6.2 Vendors

7. Bookings, Payments & Commercial Terms
Specific prices, deposits, cancellations, refunds, and timelines are governed by the agreement between the customer and the vendor, and by any separate Wedzaar policies or payment flows we may offer at the time of transaction.
Where payments are processed through third-party gateways, those providers’ terms and privacy policies apply. Wedzaar does not guarantee particular payment methods or availability in all regions.
8. Content You Provide
You may upload or post text, images, videos, reviews, or other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license below.
You represent that you have the rights to your User Content and that it does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
You grant Wedzaar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute your User Content as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Services, including in search results and marketing, where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others
- Scrape, crawl, or overload our systems without permission
- Circumvent security, access non-public areas, or probe vulnerabilities
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload malware, spam, or misleading content

10. Intellectual Property
The Services, design, branding, logos, and software are owned by Wedzaar or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent.
11. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to or integrate third-party websites, maps, social networks (including Instagram as described in Section 4), payment providers, or analytics. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the Services will meet your requirements. We do not endorse any vendor and are not responsible for the quality, timing, or legality of services performed by vendors.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEDZAAR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO WEDZAAR FOR THE SERVICES SPECIFICALLY GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wedzaar and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for operational, legal, or security reasons, or if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where required otherwise by law.
